World Environment Day Tree Planting - Bredbo TSR - 28 August 2016

Greening Australia has rescheduled the World Environment Day planting: it will be held on Sunday, 28 August 2016

We will be planting at the Bredbo Travelling Stock Reserve, a relatively easy planting area, with lovely views across to the ACT ranges.This site kicks off one of our 20 Million Trees projects, with thanks to the Australian Government and South East Local Land Services.

What to bring/wear: Hat, long sleeves, long pants, enclosed footwear, gloves, water bottle, and sunscreen. Tools and instructions provided on site.

Free bus:

8.30am City West interchange – corner Marcus Clarke and University Ave

9.00am Calwell shopping centre – Webber Cres

Return bus will leave the site at 1.30pm and drop off at Calwell then City West interchange by 3.00pm

Self drive:

3157 Monaro Hwy, Bredbo. Head south from Canberra along Monaro Hwy, pass through Bredbo, the planting area is 800m out of town on the left. Look out for the Greening Australia signs.
