Parkcarers of Southern Murrumbidgee - July activity

Planned activities: Monitoring our previous plantings, watering if needed, and fixing up tree guards; recording where weeds are so we can do later follow up work; we'll do some more erosion control work if we get materials in time.

Please wear suitable clothes and sturdy footwear, a sense of humour, and bring water.

Landcarers in the ACT are encouraged to submit a nomination for the 2013 ACT Landcare Awards.The renowned Awards now in their 23rd year honour the invaluable work undertaken by the Landcare community with winners from the State & Territory Awards going forward as finalists to the prestigious National Landcare Awards in 2014.

Isaacs Ridge Mount Mugga Mugga Park Care Group

The Isaacs Ridge Mount Mugga Mugga ParkCare Group is a small group of volunteers who meet on the second Sunday of each month to carry out weed management and other conservation activities in Mugga Mugga and Isaacs Ridge Nature Reserves. Some volunteers also work at other times during the month.

Mount Mugga Mugga and Isaacs Ridge Nature Reserves stretch from Hindmarsh Drive to Long Gully Road, bounded by the suburbs of O’Malley and Isaacs on the west and Mugga Lane on the east.
