Royalla Landcare Christmas BBQ - 9 November 2014

Sunday, 9 November 2014 - 1:00pm

Christmas BBQ:

Everyone is welcome to join the regular ongoing committee members at the annual Christmas BBQ & AGM.  The more the merrier—we’re a friendly bunch!  Come along and celebrate another year of great volunteering with Royalla Landcare.  Meet your neighbours and fellow landcarers and share your experiences.  How you got rid of those thistles in front paddock, what is Mexican fireweed anyway, how many glossy black cockatoos you saw fly overhead, how many rabbits you have and who ran over the red-bellied black snake at the roundabout?

Tarago Landcare - News & Members information pack

Many people visited the Tarago and Taylor’s Creek Landcare stall at the Tarago Show to read the posters about our local country or to seek advice about taking care of their patch of land. Five new members were welcomed on the day and each received the useful information pack that Tarago Landcare now offers – it consists mainly of selected government brochures on a range of subjects from planting native shrubs to recognizing local weeds and how to set up a dam for good fishing.

In the photo L to R Landcare members Lesley Peden, Jeanette Payne, Holly and Leanne Wells, and Margaret Vaughan.
