Mt Taylor Park Care Group - March Work Party

Join the Mt Taylor Park Care Group for their March Work Party.

We will remove soft weeds and clear out the gutters along on the zig-zag track finishing up with a cuppa at the summit.

Date: Saturday 15 March 2014 

Meet: Bottom of Zig-Zag track Pearce  

Wear: Long sleeved shirt and pants sturdy shoes and hat

Bring; Gloves and drinking water

All welcome - Tools provided.

Meet: Point Hut Crossing carpark at 9am.

Planned activities: Planting trees and shrubs, doing cut & daub on woody weeds, continuing erosion control work. Stay for a swim afterwards if the weather's warm.

Please wear suitable clothes and sturdy footwear, and bring water. (Perhaps bring a towel and bathers too.)

Parkcarers of Southern Murrumbidgee - end of year activity

Meet: Point Hut Crossing carpark at 9am.

Planned activities: Doing cut & daub on woody weeds, and lopping low branches we can use for erosion control and to reduce fire risk to trees. We'll work for 2 hours then have a relaxing get together, lunch and a swim.

For the work activity: please wear suitable clothes, a hat and sturdy footwear, and bring water.

For the end of year gathering: bring something you'd like to eat and drink, perhaps to share. Also bring your bathers.

Fisher Parkcare Landcare Group November Working Bee

Meet: 1.30pm at the vehicular track entrance to the Parkland on Namatjira Drive, where the speed limit changes (near our Olympic site).

Bring: a weeding implement, clippers, sun-cream, hat, gloves and drinking water.
