The first working bee for 2020. Activities for this working bee will be to continue to increase the network of swales and mulching around the trees to help capture and hold in the moisture while reducing run off and erosion. We will also commence preparing for the native shrub planting to will occur at the end of winter early spring. There is still plenty of blackberries and suckers to remove and more fruit trees and vines to uncover.
Lots to do and explore for old and young. The site is very dry, so if you could bring some water for the trees and vines they will appreciate it.
There will be a shared lunch at 1:00pm, please bring something to share.
Please wear appropriate clothing for working outside and provides you protection, and bring water to drink.
