Community working bees will be held throughout the year on the 3rd Sunday of each month to maintain and develop Weston Orchard. All are warmly welcomed. During Summer we will finish at lunch time to avoid the afternoon heat.
Times: 10:00am –2:00pm.
There will be a shared lunch at 1pm (please bring something to share).
Personal equipment:
- Hat
- Glasses (eye protection)
- Gloves (gardening)
- Long sleeve shirt/jumper
- Trousers
- Working shoes that cover feet
- Water bottle
Tools – please bring any of the following tools you have but remember to label with your name and phone number:
- Saws (pruning)
- Secateurs
- Shears
- Rakes
- Forks
- Picks
- Shovels
- Wheel barrows
PLEASE NOTE:
For health, safety and insurance purposes we are not permitted to bring any powered tools onto the site.
