On December 14th 2022 Southern ACT catchment group Celebrated its 20th Birthday. Over 75 hardworking volunteers, convenors, committee members and supporters throughout the Southern ACT Catchment attended the event at Section 57 in the Mawson Club.
Throughout the evening speeches were made recognising the many efforts of our members and volunteers and each member group received a thermos bearing the Southern ACT Catchment Group branding. Longstanding chair Glenys Patulny and SACTCG Project Officer Fiona Spier were acknowledged for their dedication as founding members of the committee from its inception way back in 2002.
The evening was an opportunity for the attendees to unwind and connect with old friends and make new ones over common goals. Drinks, canapes, and a beautiful cake featuring Southern ACT Catchment group’s logo were shared as attendees reflected on the many accomplishments of the preceding 20 years and their goals for the future of the catchment.
