Burra region residents are invited to take part in training in two different approaches to weed management. Come along to ONE or BOTH workshops for FREE! (Registration essential)
Spray Safe and Save will teach you how to use pesticides safely and effectively, saving you money as you control weeds on your property. It is a chemical user accreditation (AQF3/4) course in pesticide use and handling.
When: Saturday 21st (10am-6pm) and Sunday 22nd (9am-4pm) September. Full-day sessions at Burra Community Hall. This is a two-day course and you must attend both sessions to gain accreditation.

Integrated weed management and weed identification workshops will be run by local land management expert, Alison Elvin.
When: Wednesday 25th September (6-9pm). Evening session at Burra Community Hall.
If you attend this workshop you will have the opportunity to arrange for Alison to visit your property to provide personalised advice! Funding will be available to help with this service.
These workshops are provided by the Molonglo Catchment Group and ACTEW Water’s Source Water Protection Program. They will be fully catered and training materials will be provided.
