Southern ACT Catchment group, along with Rivers of Carbon, Landcare ACT’s Wellbeing Program and local landholders, have been working all through August and September with dam and river restoration plantings. These projects were supported by ACT NRM with funding from the Australian Government’s Future Drought Fund.
We would like to thank all the wonderful volunteers who have helped get over a 2000 native woodland trees, shrubs and grasses in the ground to assist with the revegetation of the Naas River and increase riparian zones around farm dams.
