Members from Landcare ACT were invited by the ACT School Strike 4 Climate group to take part in a panel event at the Climate Classroom Rally at Parliament House, Canberra on 28th November 2019. The panel members are: Dr. Maxine Cooper, Chair of Landcare ACT; Martine Franco from Southern ACT Catchment Group; Janelle Dennis from Molongolo Conservation Group; and Karissa Pruess from Gininnderra Catchment Group. It was fantastic to have the opportunity to share our knowledge with the audience about landcare, why it’s important, its relevance to climate change and why everyone should get involved.
