Friends of Urambi Hills

Urambi Hills ParkCare Group (formerly Friends of Urambi Hills) is a dedicated group of friendly volunteers that has been active in the Urambi Hills Nature Reserve since 2014, with a focus on rehabilitating former farmland and improving wildlife habitat. We work in consultation with, and support from, ACT Parks and Conservation Service and the Southern ACT Catchment Group.

Activities include planting natives, watering, weeding, and erosion control. We meet regularly on the last Sunday of the month, except December, from 9am to 12 noon. First time volunteers are welcome, but let us know you are attending, via email or the contact form below.  Meeting point and activity details are sent to our mailing list before the event. Bring sturdy footwear, hat, sunscreen and water bottle. Tools and gloves are often provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own.
